How To Recycle Your Beachwaver Bottles

If you want to incorporate being better to the planet into your New Year’s resolutions, a great place to start is by recycling your Beachwaver hair care bottles! Below, find everything you need to know about how to correctly recycle your shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, dry shampoo, and more (hint: you basically just toss them into your bin)!

Want to learn even more about how you can help the planet? You're not alone. A recent survey found that consumers want to support brands that are doing good in the world, with 66 percent willing to pay more for sustainable goods. Here are five more ways The Beachwaver Co. practices sustainability.

Good Vibes, BRB, Stay Strong Shampoo and Conditioner

Great news—all of our shampoo and conditioner containers, including Good Vibes, BRB and Stay Strong, are all fully curbside recyclable. All you need to do is make sure the bottles are empty, then simply toss them in your recycling bin. No need to rinse or remove any of the caps!

Great Barrier Heat Protectant Hairspray, Second Chance Dry Shampoo

To recycle our aerosol cans, just make sure they’re empty, and toss them into the recycling bin at the curb. Again—no need to rinse, or remove any caps or labels.

Fun fact: our aerosol cans are made from a higher grade aluminum that can be used for pop cans, so they’re a really valuable recyclable commodity! (So definitely make sure these make it into your recycling bins)!

Shubie Surf, Braid Balm, Be Strong Pre-Shampoo Foam

Since each of these bottles have materials in their caps that aren’t plastic, you’ll need to remove the caps and throw them away before recycling the bottles. Once the caps are separated, you can toss the bottles (made from sustainable sugar cane resin!) into the recycling bin.
